Karting in Atlantic Canada

The Altantic Kartsport Champsionship is currently a 3-race regional kart racing series. The series races on the two purpose-built kart tracks the area has to offer: the first two races are held in Moncton, NB with the series final in Burlington, PEI. The cream of the crop in area kart racers bring out their finely tuned machines for a shot at the AKSC Title.

Don't be fooled by the small dimensions of a kart. These machines can pack a serious punch. With the kart weighing less than the driver in the case of the Senior category, they can hit up to 100 Km/h down the straight and take turns at 2-3 lateral G's. It is quite the sight to see (and quite the rush to drive).
